these are really redundant

There was  a day when recording stright t o one of these was the norm for digital recording.In reality it was unreliable and fraught with stres sand trouble resulting in binning the recording altogether.
Now the norm is a recording made straight to a hard drive then transferred to a  usb stick.THere are drawbacks wit the transfer to usb it is slow very slow but  this method far outweighs  using dvd discs............enjoy

Smart tvs  are a good  idea  it allows you some telly even if it is just catch up not real time,so go ahead make sure you have it connected via wifi not b yethernet,or use a maind ethernet system very neat and effective idea   that uses the mains as a distribution system.

The  rule is unplug that tv aerial   and traipse it over a radiator to avoid  or take charge to earth
