Dont put up with them

Some companies love fitting huge  unnecessary masts,they look terrible and in many instances totally useless

The sky dish

This is now the common sight on British walls piping in  TV signals
However these dishes have a flaw in allowing snow to build  on their surface the holes  locking the ice in.

Its raining

The rain is coming down in buckets,if your freeview tv picture is breaking up then you water ingress into your tv aerial system.
This is normally the connection box on the aerial itself but it can equally be a worn damaged co ax cable.Sunlight breaks down the cheaper co ax cables in very short order.
Going back to original point if your  tv picture is breaking up during you need to have a very careful look at your co ax plug for signs of water

snow build up on your satellite dish will kill your sky picture we are now offering a heater system to prevent this occurring

well first of all set your budget remember don't skimp otherwise you will miss out.TV pictures are very subjective so don't let other people decide for you.

Digital picture break up

Analogue TV signals had  grainy noisy pictures
The equivalent of these  problems on the digital era are picture  freeze and  sound drop.
Good old analogue could still be catchable with it major failings but not so digital.
A digital needs less  signal  but needs excellent quality,quality being the major   criteria.a digital picture breaking up is not normal so dont shrug and put up with it.
Your equipment can be to blame for apparent  TV aerial faults, we find 4 years is about the limit for  freeview equipment before it gives you problems.
